Did I buy the right brake pads?

So I purchased these pads

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00

but I don't believe they are the same as the stock pads. I thought this part number is the same for the 2010 ss OEM brake pads. Should I return and purchase another or use these?

Also they are really dirty and I am not even sure if they are brand new.

All help is greatly appreciated,
Shayne

If you have the stock 20s or any 20in then no they wont. Just a possibility when you go with a smaller rim.

I switched to Hawk Ceramic brake pads. Almost no brake dust at all.

Look like the stock replacements. The OE are the only ones with those rollers that I'm aware of. They will fit within the wheel.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

All the best,

Those wheels (aka rollerskates) are weights GM added to help with noisy brakes. I can only guess GM made them wheels in case there was some sort of interference problem with the wheel????

Replacing my oem pads with Akebono.... can't stand the dust anymore. Only the OEM pads have those wheels on them.

Do the aftermarket (non-oem/brembo) pads not have the rollerskates on them?

Mine are just now starting to get a little noisy so I'm going to pull them off and grease the pad backing and see if that helps. If not I may just get new pads but the pads I have still look good.
