Esc or procharger I-1???

Help me decide! I got 2014 1LE I'm planing get supercharger new procharger I-1 or Esc can't decide. Also will be putting cams(what profile will be good for this set up?) and methanol kit! As right now keeping stock bottom and heads! Car will be more for street fun ,just sometimes take to track ! Thanks for any advice

Two different animals the I 1 is very flexible without restrict or plate changes. My experience on the head unit is Procharger for durability

How many cams are you putting in?
And you mean ECS I assume? That is what i would do if I were to get a blower. They have a great kit for our cars.

The question I always ask is-- what are you aiming for? A daily driver? Power and more track orientation? What is your budget? I feel like the I1 is kind of the ultimate bolt-on stock engine that gives you a ton of technology, flexibility and boost control but it comes at more cost.

Sweet car!
I'd go with the ecs kit but I'm biased. Should be easy to make 600rwhp with a cam and meth

ECS kit, drove to Smith Falls and was the fastest Camaro at the half mile event, 150mph-a week after the ECS kit was installed. Drove to Bowling Green Kentucky for LSfest and had lots of racing in Mexico and drove home-12hrs drive there and 12 hrs drive back. Lots of lots of quarter mile passes running a best of 10.4@138 with just a set of drag radials. No hiccup whatsoever at all.

ECS kit. Mine did right at 600rwhp with just the kit, long tubes and no cats.

And while Js2fst said prochargers are reliable, the i1 just came out, so I don't think anyone can make that claim. The d1/p1 are reliable blowers, but add electronics and a bunch of new stuff and I wouldn't trust that until a bunch of people put 50k+ miles on one, unless you want to test one. If you want a flatter power curve, or adjustable boost, there are other systems to do that that are proven and reliable if that is what you want.

They R&D'd it for years and put multiple cars on lengthy road trips. The product has been out for 2 years now and I have yet to hear of any chronic known problem. Considering it's their flagship blower with a lot of their reputation hanging on it; I think it's safe to suggest it's reasonably reliable. Consider the 3 year warranty if you want an extra safety net.
