Twin turbo or Procharged/Ecs set up for 9 sec 1/4
I need help choosing on what set up to run, I had a custom rear mount kit with a night fury cam and on e85 I was making about 720 rwhp and tq spooling was terrible but I was able to get 11.3 @127 I want a new set up that would allow be to be able to run 9's and if I could still run my night fury cam I would also need suspension work and welds as well. The car is getting a built 6l80 and forged motor. I can't decide wether to go with UPP or hellion kit (turbo kits) or Procharger/Ecs the car is mainly a weekend warrior street racing, drag racing and roll racing what is better and more Effiecent.

AGP kit.
Talk to Kevin about the Orange car he built. Came in with a F1R. Left with one of their basic twin kits. Went from low 11s/high 10s to bottom 9s on a soft pass getting the boot. If it had 1-2 more runs would have gone 8s. Complete street car/pump gas than went and cracked off a 9.2@156+ on 1st pass then got booted for no cage/chute/etc. A little more boost and 160mph would have been easy.

I'm gonna have to say ECS. This is my car, it's a 15 1LE ( not a ZL1 like the vid says), and has run 10.4's@138.31, stock suspensions, stock clutch, stock motor with my N/A Jam Cam and nothing more than DR's.
Turbo's are great too-AGP has a great rep-I'm just biased of course. |

If you do an ECS setup, go right for a 2200R.

~800rwhp through a stalled auto.
So many differences it is hard to even start. Absolutely zero reason to have any issues with turbos mounted low. It is a MUCH MUCH MUCH better spot than up top, for reliability and power.

You can get the AGP cheaper than the Hellion, and it's gonna be a lot easier to install. Your underhood temps will be higher with the top-mount kit. You'd need to have everything on the hot side ceramic coated, and add tons of heat protection with the top-mount. Both kits are proven 4-digit rwhp capable.

Hello.
Our standard system is rated from 500 rwhp to over 1200 rwhp, and we can upgrade to Gen 2 64 mm turbos and make over 1400 rwhp. We have 4000 lb vehicles making around 1100 rwhp and go high 8's in the quarter mile. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions. Team Hellion |

Night Fury will run great with TT. There's a thread here recently showing the results (dyno's).

I know 6 AGP cars all making between 1400-1600rwhp. AGP comes with cast parts for reliability. All hot parts are ceramic coated. Comes complete bolt on, no modding, no extras needed. Catchcan, plugs, wires, filters, vacuum hoses, coating, etc. AGP has choices in FMIC, from a smaller one for road racers to a FREAKING huge one. No cost difference, just options to get what works best. Most options on turbos too. BW, Garret, Precision, Zetas, etc. I still want to see a top mount system do a 1/2 mile or 1 mile pull without melting stuff. A dyno pull with the hood up is one thing, a 1-5th gear pull in a 1/2 or 1 mile course is where stuff gets interesting. Or a hot summer day where you have been driving for awhile then do a nice 3-4th gear pull.
