tow hook install

Anyone have video or photos of tow hook install of ZL1 addons front tow hook. I open my trap door on front bumper and see a flat piece of metal.
Thanks in advance

the ZL1 addons site has detailed instructions how to drill this area under the trap door and install the receiver for the tow hook. They include the instructions when you purchase the tow hooks for the front and rear. The rear is a little scarier as the fascia under the license plate needs to be "hole sawed" before the hook can be installed.

When you buy it, it comes with a template for drilling. I have pics of mine, but I need to shrink them before I can post them.

Ok great. Thanks.
A picture is worth a thousand. I just ordered a couple of hooks from them.
If you have any other pics keep em coming. I like to see what I am getting into.
How long did it take?
Keep in mind I'm the guy who has to allocate 4 hours for a two hour project. lol

I installed mine tonight. Would have taken less than an hour except I was 1/32nd off on the big hole and had to remove the brace and widen the hole. It looks daunting when you first get in there but the brace just slides in between the frame rail. Bring a coat hanger to help hold in place and a friend.

You do have to take out the wheel well and to get in the bumper you can tape the backing piece to a coat hanger. Takes a few minutes to get it lined up, but not to bad to install.

you can reach your hand up high to reach that area. It is tight but doable. Yes, the plastic inner liner must be removed for the front install.

That has to be a little nerve wracking doing that...

I didn't remove the liner all the way. I just removed the bottom bolts and around the brake cooling duct. You can gently pull it back and reach up there.

It is a good time to check to see if your front splitter is attached to the brackets while you have the wheel well out.
