When filling up where do you hand your gas cap?

I did not stab my car today and seriously this is a genuine question:
When filling up, where and how do you suspend or caddie the gas cap? My other cars seams to have a gas cap caddie of some sort but I haven't figured the Camaro out yet. Am I just supposed to let it dangle?
Just spent 4 plus hours detailing the car hence the importance of this question to me.

Ok, I just noticed the hook you were talking about after I saw a picture on the #12 post on this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80383

I initial thought you were talking about using the door hinge itself.

Mybad, case closed. mystery solved.

I was surprized that gm uses little plastic hook. Unfortunately I live in New Jersey and by law a gas attended has to pump the gas. Of course the dip shit just let the cap hang down and touching the car. I did say somthing to him as I grabbed the nozzle. For now on I get out even before they open the gas door. I open it and I pump the gas. If they have a problem with it I tell them to grab the manager. I let them know why. Never gave me a problem.

The exact reason I put a lock on the fuel door. Requires me to get out and open/hang the gas cap properly. I thought I was the only person who got infuriated when they just let it fall against the body.

I've had vehicles with more secure gas cap hangers, it falls off rather easily and of course hits the car.

That's what I was going to mention is that the hanger is crap. Gas cap falls off the hanger at least half the time. Surprised this car didn't come with a better setup.

I've just been opening the cap with the gas pump in my hand and while still holding the cap I insert the pump and then set the cap on the pump.
