Ls3 Rocker arm question.
Hey guys, I have been building my 416 ls3 from a bare block. It's almost time to start looking into rocker arms. Anybody using the scorpions? Engine specs are a 416, with a stage 4 BTR cam. AFR 230 heads. Any suggestions or opinions would be great. Thanks

I'm not running Scorpions but I am using T&D Rockers, mine is a 418 solid roller but the quality is excellent so I'm sure there non adjustable LS rockers are of the same quality. May be worth looking into.

Scorpions are aluminum. No thanks.
I'd do the Comp Cams Ultra Pro-magnums or OEM rockers with the Straub bushing upgrade. KW

Why are the scorpions so expensive? The comp mags are almost identical in price.

Just replaced comp cams trunnions with Smith Brothers bushings. If my headers ever show up I might drive the car before the new year.

stock rockers with stock bearing. Almost zero thread of them failing, and this is from my abusive reading on LS1tech for the last 10 years. Its not like they wont fail. A lot more lifters are failing from what I read.
CHE bushing upgrade seems like a nice and safe option.

Stock seems to work well for many. I've been running Comp Ultra Gold rockers for 4 or 5 years now with no issues at all. A good choice if you want roller tip.

Stock arms with Straub Technologies bushings is a bullet proof set up.
