Modding my vert

So I have had my vert since Memorial weekend, and I drove it for a while , and I do love my car. But as a lot of us feel, it seems 400 HP should be slamming us back harder in the seat. So I started a while back, and found a LS3 catback with an GMPP axle-back, and put that on. Definitely helped in the sound department. Not too loud for cruising in a vert , but sounds pretty good. I do hear the AFM more with it though. Next I found a Cold Air Inductions intake and a Range device. Put the intake on and definitely helped a little with pickup and more throttle noise. And the range device completely got rid of the AFM. Next I found a Apex Race scoop and washer relocation kit. Installed those and a small amount more pickup and a little more air intake noise and seemed a little more exhaust at full throttle. Today I went ahead and ordered the SCtX4 from DynoSteve. I'm hoping this will give me a nice little bump in the ole seat of the pants feeling. Only thing else I am contemplating soon is some high flow cats. I do love this car , but boy can it be expensive!!!

You can see in my sig what I have done to mine. Mods are expensive and yes you will lose your warranty, I already sailed on that boat.

But, it comes down to what you really want out of your car and how long you intend to keep it. I went with my mods because this is the car I always wanted. I will be looking to do a cam next year and that will probably be all I am going to do. You can only use so much power for the street.

You have a great looking car, now search your soul for what you really want it to be.

I went the bolt on route with my 02 z28, this time i decided to do it differently and went straight to the twins, but yes modding cars can be costly but if you do it your self and enjoy doing the installs its well worth it, and then when you run out of money to do mods there is always forza.
