Swapping a Dot-3 cap for Dot-4

A lot of us have changed out the factory Dot-3 fluid for Dot-4. If you're like me you hate the fact that you still have a Dot-3 cap. Well not anymore! I talked to my parts guy and found a Dot-4 brake fluid cap that is a direct fit. Supposedly it's from a Cop Car. So, here is the info for anyone interested in switching yours out.

I would assume that the corvette and camaro calipers dissipate heater better than Caprice calipers when they are overworked.

Have you noticed any leaking ? How long you been using this one?

That's the way they roll down under, they do spend a lot of time tuning the cars for the track.

Nice Find!

thanks for the info.
Maybe this also helps with the leakage? I didn't get to seal it yet.
