My wife and I were at a wedding reception Saturday and one of the other guests had this IBM LT/RS. I couldn't resist lining them up and taking some pics, both cars are in the shade....

I noticed his car was newer than mine, yet it still had the GM chicklets. Did they decide to keep those till the 2011 model year?

I'm pretty sure all of them are coming off the line with the chiclets on them, have you heard differently?

There was press release from GM saying they were going to stop putting them on the Camaro and a couple of other models starting soon, and no cars would have them next year. I thought the date they gave for the Camaro was late August, so I wasn't sure my car would have them. It seems to me that came out the same time they said they were going to start putting the backup sensors on them.

Some members have already received cars without the chiclets (to the one poster above those are the small square GM badges on the front fender behind the wheels). It seems to be the cars that have the back-up sensors installed that don't have them now.

So how rare is mine since it has both.....

Thats cool to see the two blues side by side like that. I still love the IBM be ABM is a really cool colour too.

I thought they were going to keep using the chicklets until they simply ran out of them.
