1LE hood wrap care

Recently took delivery of my summit white 1LE, wanted to see if anyone could recommend the best way to care for the satin black hood wrap. Thanks in advance!

I think Chemical Guys have a specific product for cleaning such matte type finishes.

wash like you regularly would and use spray on wax or detailer ONLY. Not the rub in wax. Just spray it on and wipe over immediately. Thats it!

At the recommendation of others on this forum, I tried the Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte spray.

It does a nice job.

I bought the same stuff, looks nice after application but when it gets wet it leaves spots. I detailed the car and when I went to leave the next morning the car was covered in condensation. When I got to work the hood had spots all over it.

rinseless wash I assume is ok for the wrapped hood? from what I have read here on the forums I think rinseless is the way I want to go.

After rinseless wash can I just apply BF Crystal seal for example?

I'm taking delivery very soon of my 1LE and just want to be prepared.

Don't use Crystal seal, that might put too much of a shine, use the products talked about above made for the Matte/satin vinyls....on a gloss stripe, Crystal seal is fine.

On suggestion from someone here, I use quick detailer on a microfiber towel. So far, so good.

Here is some good info on taking care of vinyl stripes, it may help you with your hood wrap.
