strut tower brace installed

this was the easiest thing i have ever installed on a car period. love OEM parts for that reason. of all my cars ever when i bought direct bolt on parts it was never easy or needed me to drill or mod. even the cold air k&n intake on my crown vic i needed to drill a hole for the mas air flow and other things.

i love GM for making quality parts and making things strait foreword

i am going to paint it in a week or 2 soo updates when that happens.
if it does anything yay, if not it looks cool so still yay shiny things under hood to enjoy

Looks great! I don't like that the 2010's cant have that style without modification. At least that's what I think I read

Figures

I really dig that type of brace. The BMR one that fits with the 2010's doesn't look too bad though so I'll probably just opt for that.

I want this so damn bad, but I have a 2010 SS which has a different strut tower.

Because of this, the GMPP Strut Brace requires the hardware adapter kit, which costs as much as the damned brace!

And any of the other aftermarket braces requires some drilling, which is fine, but also dropping the struts...which I really don't want to do.

Ok, I am done whining now.

hay bro anything is possible
that does kinda suck tho the same price ouch. i picked mine up for i think 129$ 127$ something like that.
but i can think of a few things id rather spend 300$ on like sway bar or bushings oh performance slotted brakes rotors.

Yea man, suspension is definitely where I want to go next. I am looking at the Eibach Pro-System Plus kit. Comes with front and rear sway bars, lowering springs, and struts for all 4 corners. Either that or the 1LE upgrade. Not too much of a price difference.

I am very surprised at the amount of body roll I get in my car. I had a 1995 Trans Am that felt like it handled better. But that may just be the nostalgia talking.

This is getting to be a very expensive 'hobby'!

I miss the strut tower brace I had on my 2011 Summit White 2LT. I was fortunate enough to purchase a Hot Wheels Edition color "blue" from a forum member on a different forum for $150. Sadly with my newly acquired 2010 - it would need work to be able to fit a strut tower bar onto. However, it will be done....
