Disabling the econo shift

Tried looking for posts on this but must not be typing the right phrase. Does anyone have information on how to disable the econo shift on manual transmission cars? I hate this function.

Thank You

Your choice of which one you want to buy, or you can make your own.

Only on the SS.
You would know it if you had it.

Personally, my car hardly ever makes me skip shifts. Just stay in first gear to about 19 mph or give it a little less than 1/4 throttle and you won't ever activate it.

You can also disable it by getting a tune.

I have the Diablo Sport Trinity and a tune from Phastek. You can also have it removed by a tuner shop when getting your car dyno tuned.
