ACS ZL1 side rockers installed
Ordered Sunday night, delivered noon today, installation done at 1:30!
Very pleased overall. Excellent quality and rigid construction. Ordered in 1LE satin finish. Finish matches hood wrap closer than the front splitter and spoiler and side mirrors-- my only beef with it. I think some wax will shine it up a bit. Gaps and fit look factory to me, and I'm fussy! Looks good! I'd probably also swap out the rear diffuser for something a little more aggressive to match it.

Thanks guys, I think it makes the cars height appear lower-- which I like. They are pricey, but it always seems you get what you pay for. The rock protection, if any, remains to be seen. Really enjoying this car!

Looks awesome Pitts! I got the other ACS rockers cause when I got my 1LE they didn't offer the zl1 ones. I too was also impressed with the quality and ease of installation. Yes, there a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and change the look of he car. Nice!!

Any clearance issues with the jack/lift points?

I have the ZL1 jack pads on the pinch welds, but even without them there is no issues. Bottom of rocker is notched out to match factory rocker for jack points.
No clearance issues, bottom of rocker is at the same height as stock rocker-- it just LOOKS lower. Only thing is to remember to lift your shoes up a bit more getting in and out, otherwise you will mark them up. No different than ZL1/Z06 owners. |

looks good. These would have saved me a decent chunk of change on paint costs compared to the OEM rockers

Looks great!! I plan to do this when I can. Please let us know if you notice a difference with rock protection.
Also did you install with supplied rivets only or did you add some vhb? |
