Enjoying the 1LE
I got my car about a month and a half ago. Came from at CTSV. Was worried I would not like the Camaro, but I have to say the more I drive it the more I like it. It is so "analog" that it is fun. I do miss my ventilated seats, but the handling of this car is amazing! I have begun calling this car the "Hooligan". Anyway, just my 2 cents on going from a CTSV to a Camaro 1LE.

Curious, but why did you change to the 1LE and not a ZL1, something with similar power. I did the V to 1LE swap too and love the change, but I was in a gen 1 V.

No ZL1 due to LSA fuel consumption. I was sick of filling up the V every 2 days......It was 600whp. Now I enjoy a whole week on a tank of gas.

That is a good point. I do enjoy my mpg, sitting around 21 now. But I have aspirations for the LSA conversion, sucks to hear how often I may need to fill up.

Have always loved the V, and considered it when I went from the Z06 to the 1LE. Your driving impressions of the V vs. the 1LE?

Hope you keep enjoying your 1LE, their really fun car to drive, especially if you got the 5gen, since it a retro of the gen1.

Not trying to be a ... , but 21 mpg? I am getting around 17 1/2 mpg cruising at 75-80..... Since I got it, but I have never seen anything close 20 mpg, that with 91-94 octane and no additives.

Welcome to the 1LE club dude
I always wanted a CTS-V Wagon, but that feeling has waned away, ever since Sledge entered my life. |

Handling can be addictive and has a different feel every time you turn where as power is something we get used to. I feel the 1le has the right blend of both and knew you would enjoy the 1le coming from the powerful yet boat like handling ctsv.
