Coolant temp sensor thread size? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just installed the GPI ls3 aftermarket heads, and am finding that the stock coolant temp sensor will not thread into the hole. Doing some research I found that the threads are 12x1.5 is this correct? Since I can't find an adapter anywhere is my only choice to tap for the 12x1.5 threads. This is the last part that is keeping me from firing my car up after heads and cam install. Any help would be appreciated greatly.
