They got the year wrong, but this is sick.

The way the prices are trending a trashed race car should be like $15k right? Who knows what it will bring.

Prices actually seem to be going back up. Check AutoTrader (nationwide). Majority of used are in mid 40s and up w/ several in low 50s and a couple in the mid to high 60s (used).

I don't think they go the year wrong - that doesn't look like it was built off a Z/28 shell to me, I think it's a standard BIW (body in white) built with Z/28 panels afterwards. The fit of the front fenders to the doors is not very good for example.

Definitely not as nice as the Pratt & Miller built cars!

Surprised it's running the CCBs as most race series make you change these back to steel. It's also definitely on 19s...you can see the Z/28 logo embossed into the OEM wheels.

Not a fan of that rear wing mouting, it's hard to see but it looks like any downforce created will just go into flexing the boot (trunk!) panel... the way Russ has done it on the Fushion of Ideas Z/28 is a lot better!

Interested to what it will sell for. If it's really just a standard 505 horse LS7 I can't really see any reason it should be much more than the bottom end of the Z/28 used market...

Used race cars bring very little at Mecum, I would guess 25k, maybe even 20k. There is no condition report, someone is taking a chance even at 20. It's a complete gamble. I will post the results

CC brakes may have been removed for racing and replaced when done. Appear as new
