its a custom grind by cunningham motorsports using a cam motion 8620 core.

23x/24x duration 11x is what ive been told

.......

if i get my tax return in time, im also getting some trick flow specialties GenX 255 12 degree heads.

bo white's car with the 13 degree heads and another build ive watched with Gwatney Performance's 12 degree heads conviced me that i should get the heads now if i can afford them. the factory heads are coming off when i get the cam installed since im getting new lifters installed with it. so if i get that tax return in time, id like to get put back together with some 12 degree heads and hopefully close to 510ish RWHP and 460ish RWTQ on 91 octane pump gas. (im in california so thats all we have)

Nice! I really want to start building the rear better but can never convince myself to do it when the money finally allows haha.

ive seen your youtube videos. i binged watched some of them over the weekend. smh. good stuff. i was LOL'ing when you stuffed the NPP catback "through" your saab and drove as far as you did like that. it was great. lol

as far as the rear upgrades i did, i can honestly say that the one thing i should have done to the car long ago was the 3.91 gears. its just stupid how nimble it feels now off the line. not sure if the 1LE CV axles also helped or if it was the BMR trailing arms and toe links, or the 335 30 20 MPSS tires i have or a combination of all, but the car feels like it can really lay the power down now and thats why im confident that im ready for the cam and heads. the only thing i sometimes question is whether i should've done the solid cradle bushings when they lowered the rear cradle in order to install the toe links (the driver side bolt that holds the toe link to the cradle will not come out unless the cradle is lowered) I dont road race or drag race it and dont beat on it hard in that sense. I daily drive it and enjoy it early in the weekend mornings on the open freeway and will likely do some ShiftSector 1/2 mile racing from time to time. That type of racing doesnt tax the differential or axles like drag racing does and that ultimately made me pass on the solid bushings.......for now

one thing is for sure though: You should convince yourself and get the 3.91's. you will love them

I am already convinced from the overwhelming majority that are happy with this upgrade! I have read a lot and seems like few, if any, regret it.

Even in mostly stock trim it feels pretty weak down low. I am worried the cam/heads I'm in process of doing now are just going to make worse.

Gears are most likely my next mod after I recoup from all the current parts

Also, love the pic in the og post. Gonna steal that for Facebook so my neighbors can be warned haha

Hey, thanks for the support! 3.91's are definitely coming, it's between that, heads, or new wheels/tires when I'm able to start throwing money at the car again haha. But I definitely need to give that side of things a bit more love, I won't drag race until I do because I'm terrified I'll snap the axles lol. The issue is when the funds become available, I always am attracted to something that makes the car look better or power over that. I suppose it will all get done eventually, one way or the other
