Car Cover for $35 shipped!? **UPDATED WITH PICS**

I went with this:

http://www.empirecovers.com/shop/det...03&source=fcar

$35 shipped. It's strictly for indoor use but my Camaro is going to be sitting in a Garage for the next 4-5 months. I know it's silly to skimp so hard on the cover but as long as it keeps dust off of it, it is all I need. I will let y'all know how it fits when it gets here.

I might be asking for trouble with such a cheap cover but I figure as long as I wash and wax it before I put it on I should be fine. Like I said, it's going to sit in a garage.

I received it today. Here are some pics. It's not bad for $35. The material is like canvas so you definetly only want to use this indoors. It fits alright, I think on non SS models it would fit on the front even better because you don't have the "leno" chin on your front fascia. I think it's worth $35. It'll do the job!!

hey, as long as its just a dust cover, what real difference does it make. I have a friend that has two different totally restored hotrods, both of them sit in a garage, NEVER outside, he had his wife take good quility cotton SHEETS, and sew them together to cover them both, that is LOW TECH covers! lol they are not fancy, or for show, but whatever works!!

For indoor use, nothing wrong with that. I have used $20 cover from Walmart on my Cobra for years. It keeps dust out and that is all I cared about. I have a GM Camaro cover for my Camaro that is still in the box!

The cover offered through GM is sweet but $300 is not in the budget. Especially when my two little Girls just informed me that Santa is bringing them new laptops for Christmas, RASCALS...LOL!!

Looking forward to the update. I sold the cover I got with he car as it was a bit of an overkill for me as well. I would only need a dust cover and the GM cover looks like it's made for a nuclear fall out.

Thanks for the info SSOOCH

$35 buck must be for 1/24 scale camaro......

I spent $135.00 for mine just for the garage..works and fits like a glove.

I'm still waiting for it. I finally got a tracking number from them and it looks like it won't be here until the 27th, this Friday. Last Friday, this Friday...what's the difference

Be warned if you order from Empire Covers they are very low tech so don't expect an automatic email with tracking number, you have to ask for it.
