wheel question camaro

I own a 2010 LS and was wanting to upgrade the wheels and tires from 18” to 20”. I found a nice set off a 2016 RS 20 inch but not sure if they would fit my car? any help or advice would be appreciated.

I think the offset might be off, but the wheel lug pattern should be the same.

If you are shopping for wheels, you need to understand what offset is. It's the relationship between the wheel mounting surface and the centerline of the wheel. It determines whether the wheel has the correct position relative to the suspension and body. This is something to sort out before you buy the wheels and mount tires on them!

The wiki page on this forum will tell you what the correct offset and wheel widths for the Gen5, and a little google work will lead you to several resources for measuring offset and calculating the correct offset for non- OEM wheel widths.

wiki says my stock wheels are 18x 7.5 w a +38mm offset. can’t find what 2016 would be at 20 inch.

It's been done and it works. If you had an SS or Brembos you may need spacers.

You can also use websites like willtheyfit and wheel-size as a reference.
