You've had more damn (weird) issues with that car than I've ever seen. Seems like you either need to leave the car alone or get rid of it and purchase something else.

You don't simply change a license plate bulb, properly, and come up with an error message.

I had one of the LED license plate bulbs I installed fail and didn't see this message, perhaps this only happens when both fail or the wiring harness has a continuity problem (but then you're saying it works fine...). How about disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes and perhaps using different bulbs? I sure wouldn't ditch a fine car over this alone

After I put LED lights in my 2016, I had intermittent failures.

First, the LED license plate bulb. Bulb failed repeatedly.

Second, Diode Dynamic side marker light and I had repeated battery drain down (dead).

I return the car to stock and the problems went away. Never again ...my 18 and 20 remain stock.

I only got 2 problems and they’re the fuse and this bulb, amd as the technician said the fuse problem is notmal.

About the license plate bulbs I replaced them and this message appeared 1 time and then it went away so its good now.

I think that the message came because the bulbs are cheap other than that the car is perfect.

Match the wattage to the original bulb. Going too low may cause an error. License plate bulbs are usually low to begin with.

From the manual. Looks like a 5 W, which is typical:

License Plate W5WLL

FWIW, I have converted the license plate lights to Sylvania LEDs and I don't have any issues.

I just went to the Autozone and got some compatible white LED bulbs. Direct replacement. No fuss and still looking great years later.
