Damn. What crappy luck.

So, if you have read any of my other posts, you'll notice it's been a whirlwind of emotion getting this camaro! Anyhow, last night, FINALLY pulling the car into the garage, and guess what - it scrapes on the way in. My driveway is very steep, so getting into the garage over the corner of where the driveway and garage meet scrapes the bottom of the car... It's right in the middle, and it's the lowest showing casing. I "think" it's the catalytic converter, but I am not sure. It seems to be part of the exhaust. Ugh. Can I just pull that damn thing off? My luck has been sucking since buying this thing.................. Good thing is it's ever so slight, and I only did it once. Going to find a better solution before I take it back through.

will a couple sheets of plywood help reduce the slope?

What do you mean? Lay out wood on the floor and drive over them?

Yeah, place the plywood so that the front tires will be up an inch or two when the scrape occurs. Stagger the edges (on both sides) so the tires rise gradually so that the wood doesn't get pushed away by the tires. Sorta like a speed bump just inside your garage. The bump need to be the width of the car, but only a foot or two long.

I found a nice little angle that I can get into with no scrapage... Fortunately it only took me one or two drives to find it, so I only rubbed the cat a couple times. Phew.
