New dummy light found.

I found a new dummy light on my way to lunch this morning. I hit my turn signal and heard the fast "you have a bulb out" signal and then this popped up too.

wow that's a nice feature. Now there's no guessing and new drivers won't be confused as to why their blinker is blinking really quickly anymore.

did you know that my headlights and tail lights have lasted over 10 years in my truck? that's pretty amazing! You must've gotten a dud bulb. I had a couple CFL bulbs in my house burn out after 9 months or so, 10x life my butt!

should be covered under warranty - I just had my '08 G8 GT inspected, had a bulb out, replaced it under warranty

My 04 Ram will come on with a "Bulb Out" warning, but it won't tell you which one. This is a way better feature!

Cool feature,as said many cars have had it for awhile, amazing is that they don't ALL have it..how often do we op-check our lights(other than headlights which are usually obvious).

It is fairly simple...when a bulb burns out then it no longer draws a load when it should be illuminated...determining that a bulb is out and which one is "child's play" for even 20 year old electronics... You want to see some crazy warnings/cautions/advisories you should see what modern aircraft can tell you....they know what you had for breakfast(j/k)...lol plain ridiculous.

I think bulbs fall under wearable items and might only have a 90day warranty unless they are special like HID, LEDs.

Burned out already?

So, are you 80 years old, driving in left lane with your turn signal on all the time?

Just curious!

Man who would even have to think of either waiting for an appointment to take there car to the dealer to replace a bulb under warranty or drop a few bucks at "Autostore X" and do it yourself in 5 minutes??
