I finally got my spoiler back from the body shop and got some pics of my CGM with all the exterior mods I did this spring.

List of mods:

GMPP Heritage grille
Ultra Silver stripes and rear back panel
Classic 68/69 SS emblems
Custom bodyside molding

Looks great, but something seems weird that meets the eye. Maybe it's an illusion, but are your SS emblems upside down?

No, they look like that from the angle of the picture. I made sure they were right side up before mounting them. They look the same in either direction, so I guess they make repo's so they cant be put on wrong.

Love the Cyber gray with SIM stripes. I have the same combo except i have the rally stripes instead of hocky stripes.

Did you paint the aft trunk area or is that a decal?

I was thinking about doing that exact same thing.

Just my opinion here, but I think the SS logo's on the side are overkill.

The car looks fantastic though. Nice job!

Looks really good. CGM is a great color. Love the look of the heritage grill. Not a fan of the factory GFX

Very nice well done not over the top just enough just wish they were the TTII's (holding out for these on my car and have them powder coated with glossy charcoal centers like my 01 Z/28) and not the TT M's.

You guessed it right. I just got it in the mail on saturday, so it is getting installed tonight.

Not paint, silver decal trimmed down to fit between the tails. I wanted all the stripes and decals to be metallic silver. If you notice the hood and trunk, I customized my stripes and made them longer to wrap over the edge of the hood and trunk.

Take a look at a 1969 camaro SS. I did them on my car to clone the way is looked in 69. GM put them on the 69 on the fenders, grille and tail panel with the engine size on the hood.

It must be the way your looking at it, in person they look fine.
Maybe I got the rare optical illusion ones.

Here is the grille with emblem before I installed it: Copy the picture to your desktop and flip it 180 degrees, you will see it looks the same upside down as it does right side up.

Here is the rear emblems if you want to try it with them also.

Nice job. Love the wheels but I think the fender SS emblems are a bit large. Like the stock trunk ones I put on my fenders better. Yours is the only other Camaro I've seen with the stripes left off the rear spoiler. Sometimes less is more.
Overall a great looking Camaro.
