Hey guys its gonna be back so i will be calling monday to set up our track time hope to see everyone there who came this year and maybe some new guys

Laps for Charity II
Saturday, September 11, 2010

You're the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens the Speedway to the public for the first time this year. Experience the thrill of driving your car around the 1.5-mile super speedway all to benefit the Texas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.

Polish up your special vehicle and come on out to "The Great American Speedway!®" on Saturday, September 11, 2010 for Laps for Charity I. Take three laps on the 1.5 mile Super Speedway behind a pace vehicle for just a $30 donation and have your picture taken in Victory Lane for an additional $10. Once again our fan favorite VIP Laps Experience will be offered for $250. Laps will be conducted for Car Clubs (by reservation) from 5-7 p.m. and for the General Public from 7-10 p.m. No reservation is needed for the General public time.

And for those who want to meet at the track we will be on the back row furthest from the track in the corner of Labounte & Victory Circle in the express parking area

Why do we get 2 threads about the laps for charity II started by you and "butterfingers" in the TX section?

We already had 2 threads about laps for charity 1 posted by the same 2 guys. Why don't you get together and keep it all in the same thread?

As an outsider, and not knowing anyone from either group-

Being new to Texas...but not Camaro5...I met and got to know many members while living in Canada...

LSC seems to be pushy and controlling and I personally don't get a good vibe.

Many people like myself are car people, but not car club people because they tend to be too political, etc. and this informal group of C5 people get together without the drama. I see a fit for both types of groups, but the "Club" needs to back off and quite being so negative to a group that just wants to informally meet up...

Just my opinion having followed this section since moving down here a few months back.

My suggestion...schedule your track times together, but keep all else seperate (and LSC just let the other group be).

We're not "club" people for car or bikes. We like the loosy-goosy feel that comes from groups, hence why we rode with the DFW Camaro Owners group. UnknownWarrior and Autobot are

thats how "clubs/groups" should be in my opinion just people to hang out and have fun with
