How many of you were influenced to by a camaro just from discovering camaro5? Only reply if this refers to you.

i bought before i knew about C5.i stumbled onto it after i got my car.it would have helped a lot had i know about it.i got my car because i saw it on the transformer movie and fell in love with it.

I was seriously considering this car last April, I can't say that this site is the main reason I bought my car but it definitely didn't hurt the chances

While I was thinking about it before finding this site, I will say reading all the comments on the site pushed up my "want" for it (and timeframe). As fate would have it, we're refinancing our house and a couple other monthly expenses are going away, and a member here had the 2SS I was looking for, fate!

Did not find this site until after had ordered my Camaro. It's been a great place for advice and information.

This site nearly talked me out of buying! All the negatives mentioned many times- the bazillion item fault lists, the paint jumping off body parts, clutches that seem to be merely decorative, on and on. I realized it is the same on every enthusiasts site and most of the things don't happen to everyone (just good things to watch for and be aware of).

I didn't discover this site until after I ordered my car. I did a search about how to track the build of my Camaro and there it was: Camaro5.com.

There were a number of things involved in my decision to order my car, my husband first and foremost. He reminds me of that a lot.

But this site did push me over the edge and gave me a lot of information that helped in the ordering process.

I'd been following the concept since it's debut in 2006. I knew i wanted one from the very first moment I saw it. I hung out more on camaroz28.com than I did camaro5. C5 is definitely more active than the other one which is the main reason that I started coming over here more. I think camaroz28.com has been around since 1997 though. I don't know how long this site has been around.

I found my Camaro on this site! I typed in ABM Camaro in Google back in January and found a thread by Anna @ Sparta Chevy advertising she had 2 ABM's for sale. She ordered two just before GM discontinued the color. I thought I wanted the ABM color but had not seen one in person. I used pics from this site to show me what the car really looked like. The wife and I discussed it for several days before making the decision to purchase the car from Anna.

All said and done, I guess I did buy the car because of this site!

I have not yet bought, I plan to next spring. I was on the fence about it, esp. since I'm so passionate about the car. Most everyone else on the job thinks I'm obsessed w/ the car, and that's somewhat deflating.... then I was turned onto c5 by a customer of mine and I see that my obsession w/ this car isn't weird at all, but shared by many others.

Buying because of c5? No. Has my decison to buy been reinforced by c5? Yep....

I found camaro5 because I wanted to get more info on the camaro during the concept stages of the car. Then when I ordererd seems this site provided more information than my dealer knew about.

I lingered around this site for a while before I bought one. Although the car sold me on itself, this site definitely contributed.

I bought one because I saw it at the unveiling in Detroit on January 9,2006. When I saw it I know I had to have one.
