We had plant tour and a car show at the plant on August 10, 2012.The St. Catharines Engine Plant machines parts and assembles GM's famous Vortec brand of engines. The plant currently assembles the Gen IV V8 engine, the High Feature V6 Engine, and the GF6. The V8 engine powers the Chevrolet Corvette and the Chevrolet Camaro. The high feature V6 powers the Chevrolet Camaro, Malibu and Traverse.
