I'm new hear, so help me out please. I've read all your post regarding: Grinding noise while backing up and turning. The noise is not subtle, it's coming from the right front wheel area, doesn't happen every time. First I tightened the brake caliper, that wasn't it, then I came to this web site and voila, I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. I've spoken with 2 dealers and they know nothing about it. There are no IP#'s that relate to the issue. Dameon's post provided IP#AIC3614, but this did not show as valid at the dealer. Chadkatona's VIN # didn't help either. I'm inclined to believe that it is ABS related, and has nothing to do with loose end links, struts, calipers, differential lube, etc. If any of you have had this problem resolved, please provide dealer info. phone #'s, names etc.so I can take advantage of this software fix too. If GM hasn't come up with anything yet, I guess I'll just have to wait. help!
