go look at a new impala or malibu. they have the same IBM. it's quite dark, but lightens up in bright light

Those are by FAR the best pics of this car in this color. I'm completely at ease with choosing IBM now.

:word: I love how it looks in the Motor Trend video, really shows off the range of the color. Thought it was ABM for a second because of the brightness and hint of green in direct sunlight. Man this color is sic!

That is ABM in the Motor Trend video. That green hue gives it away. The IBM is much darker.

i ordered a ibm with white rally stripes and i am glad i did i think with the white stripes its gonna give it a nice contrast. this car rocks in the sun.

The MS wheels look alot darker in these pics. I want to paint the spokes of my wheels Black, that would look nice

Well as someone who works in the plant i can tell you the IBM with the Rally Stripes is my # 1 pick . It is a popular choice amongst my fellow workers , so when its my time to order , IBM will be my retirement gift to myself. Cheers

I stand corrected. That was my first thought but I figured it was too dark for ABM and since they had pics of IBM in the actual article I figured that it was. My bad. Regardless, I'm stoked about my IBM SS and can't wait till it gets here.

Ok this might be a stupid question and im not sure if its been answered yet but,
is IBM the same color as the Navy Blue Metallic (NBM) for the 00-02 4th gen camaros? Or is IBM closer to the LeMans Blue Metallic of the 06-07 C6 vettes?

Its hard to tell in all the different pictures for the IBM color. i have a NBM 02' SS and the IBM color comes really really close to my NBM. But I also really like the LeMans Blue they had for the 06-07 C6 vettes too.

So has anyone seen the IBM in person and could tell me which color it comes close too? Thanks.

Yeah, I figured they'd have video since they had still photos of the IBM. I was a bit disappointed, cause I thought you found some good video of the IBM!

But I'm with you all the way! It's so close I can almost hear 426 HP revving under my right foot! Can't wait to see pics, whichever of us gets his first! :thumbup:

It's been a little while since I've seen NBM, but I'd say it's pretty much the same color. If I remember right, the NBM had a very slightly purple tint to it, whereas IBM is very boldly blue, albeit rather dark. It's simply gorgeous!

I thought I might order a IOM but after seing a Cobalt in IBM that was it. I put in my order that day.

I love this color. I can't wait to get home so I can order me a 2SS/RS. Also this color reminds me of Midnight Blue metallic that I had on my 05 GTO.

So all you guys with IBM on order, what color interior are you getting? I never liked a gray interior, but I kind of like it on the blue. Especially since the interior still has a lot of black.

I got the jet black leather. I was thinking of the beige, but black is just oh so sporty! The gray is nice too, but a bit too light IMHO.

I went with the beige because I've always wanted a beige interior on a car. If white or blue had been offered, I would have chosen one of those.

IBM with Grey Hockey Stripes and the polished 21's. TPW is 5/18/09 with delivery hopefully by the second week of June.

Anybody get a vin?!?? Or at least pass 3000?!?

Wow. It almost sounds like you're choosing the color of the car depending on which stripes you want vs. the other way around. If I were going to put stripes on IBM, I think SIM stripes (not white) would look fabulous...but to each his/her own. SIM is awesome too!! :thumbsup:

Honestly, love IBM but don't like white or Silver stripes. Would have been very happy with IBM. What the hell do I know anyway---last car was Purple---that's right purple. Silver should look better that a 94 purple z28:sm0::sm0:

IF I WOULD HAVE ORDERED LEATHER THEN I WOULD GO WITH GRAY SINCE IT IS LIGHT COLORED AND BREAKS UP THE BLACK.

Won't disagree there. :sm0: To me, picking the color was the hardest part in the case of the Camaro because it looks so good in just about all of them. I started off with IOM, then switched to SIM, then switched to CGM. My salesman was about to strangle me at that point. Then I saw that video of the 2LT IBM on a turning platform at some auto show and it knocked me out cold. TKO!! :fighting0030: :sm5: ...so for a 4th time, I changed colors to IBM. I'm sure I've made a name for myself at the dealership and probably get a recommendation to seek professional help. :sm0::sm0:
