Quality is pretty damn good IMHO. I like the small screw in plugs on the bungs! I remember I did a pace lt install about 5-6 years ago and the threads were jacked and we didn't notice til it was already on! Thread chasing on your back is not fun at night lol! Nice touch TSP

LeanPocket 07-19-2013 08:12 AM

did you happen to look into the collectors? Was wondering if they still lack the merge spike

LeanPocket 07-19-2013 08:14 AM

i have gen1 tsp 1 7/8's and they got weathered pretty good.. they arent very appealing to the eyes.

Those, on the otherhand, look fantastic. I'm loving the TSP logo

litle88 07-19-2013 09:41 AM

Drivers side is on mated to the Corsa catback NO ISSUES AND PLENTY OF CLEARANCE for the steering shaft!! I likey.

Looks good...I'm running 1 7/8" tsp's through my Corsa. I wonder if the 2" will have a different sound.

Ject 07-19-2013 10:01 AM

looks great

grocerygetter 07-19-2013 10:24 AM

watching to see pass side. This is my header of choice once I cam it this spring.

Dznts 07-19-2013 10:29 AM

My guess would be not enough to consider a swap.

litle88 07-19-2013 01:08 PM

Finished up about an hour in a half ago I also downloaded his file so I can start deleting his DOD/AFM and rear 02's. didn't finish cause of his schedule. I must say the quality is very good! Everything fit perfectly and the finish and quality is very good as well.

Sorry I just saw that you wanted a pic of the merge I looked and no spike but the welds in there are very good as well though.

The passenger side has even more room I wouldn't worry about it, many worry about the Drivers side more with the steering shaft and all, TSP's 2" headers have NO clearance issues whatsoever.

Heres a start up video. Sorry my brother was stating his opinion at the end LOL

Sounds really good. I hope you charged Alex alot of money for that install, cause he's loaded!

thahemp 07-19-2013 01:20 PM

Another one joins the club! I think I hear a squeak.

I was wondering how the 2" would do around the steering knuckle. Very nice.

strych9 07-19-2013 01:22 PM

Nice! I was curious about the clearance around the steering shaft. Those have a little more than my 1-7/8"!

Yup, it started with a CAI, then a Corsa catback now.......TSP headers LOL. All I get is Coffee! Cheap azz family LOL

JK I love it so they win lol

grocerygetter 07-19-2013 01:32 PM

sounds awesome. Like the clearance Clarence.

shibbs 07-19-2013 01:36 PM

I'm very happy with my 2" TSP headers. They got a little close to the rubber piece on the steering shaft on my 2012, but not sure if that's something unique to the 2012?

Still no merge spike, though.

steveo9043 07-19-2013 01:38 PM

MMMMM headers!

litle88 07-19-2013 01:40 PM

I don't think the spike merge is that critical, is it? I mean those 2" primaries to 3" collector are going to flow IMHO. I've never really seen or read about then being critical. Maybe someone can "learn" me on that lol.

Nightmare2012 07-19-2013 01:51 PM

Now that sounds like POWA!

But I brewed the coffee myself.

This system is amazing. Just what I wanted out of my daily driver. It sounds smooth at idle, but when you step on it, BOOOOOOM, unleash the BEAST!!!!:happyanim: TSP headers and the Corsa Catback is a great combo.

TSP did a great job with these. The quality looks great, sounds great and is an excellent value!

Special Thanks to litle88 for making family time possible, and taking the time to install these TSP Headers.:first:

Thank you to Jason at Texas Speed for your support on these, and I love them!!!!

Hmmmm...whats next to install?????

its not a must have, but when i talked to kooks a while back, they told me it was suppose to aid in exhaust velocity and straightening the flow. I'm assuming TSP didnt factor it into their design for cost reasons. But with that said, i highly doubt you'd notice much of any difference. But hey.. 460'ish bucks for 2" headers? Can t beat that!

I believe ARH utilizes the merge spike :happy0180:

Love the sound, sounds almost identical to my set up: ARH/Corsa. As you get miles on the headers the sound will continue to get a bit louder and deeper. Enjoy.

Here is my setup:

Here's a driveby after I tweaked his MAFS table, his torque management settings, fan settings, deleted all rear 02 sensors settings, the DAMN DOD/AFM. Took a ride and did some data logging to see what's up and keep learning.

Working on the scoop, haven't fully decided on PTB. Many mods to come...
