Does Zl1 have same tranny?

Also, what happens when you mix the two different tranny fluids together? one stuck in lines and new fluid... tried that with break fluid different kind learned it the hard way...

I don't think it will bother anything, both fluids are ATF with dextrin ratings.

I have experienced much smoother shifting with the redline fluid tho, that's a fact.

You should have used jack stands. There is not a lot of room under there if the jack failed.

Thank you Padilla, will be doing this after my 2 day track day in May

So a video on how to die when your jack fails.

Another tip. Crack the fill plug lose before removing the drain plug. It will drain faster. And like mentioned, USE JACK STANDS. Especially if your making a how to vid for other to follow. Safety first!

you know, you guys are absolutely right about that. normally i do use jack stands but i didnt this time around, i have a good jack but i should have still used them. i will in the future any time i get under the car

Good thought. Eliminate the gurgling.

Slide one under the car even if you don't set the car on it.

I refilled mine from above using some clear PVC tubing and a funnel.
Very easy, let gravity do the work.
