CAI & ATI + 5% Pulley Installed

Installed both of these to my otherwise stock 2014 ZL1. The install
of the CAI, Inc cold air intake system was very easy and straight forward. I installed the CAI first and drove it for a few weeks. I was very impressed with the performance boost and overall improvement in the sound of the supercharger. I ordered the ATI Super Damper and 5% pulley from JRE. The install was fairly simple but it was more complicated than the CAI. I've had a lot of automotive mechanical type experience over my career which gave me an understanding of how to do this. I only needed to remove one single part from the FEAD (an idler) to gain enough room to get the stock damper out of the front of the engine compartment once it was off. I ended up renting a puller to get the stock damper off. I made my own install tool, after reading a few threads from people here on C5. A trip to Ace hardware was all it took. Some threaded M16 x 2.0 rod, a few spare nuts, washer and a bearing is all it took. Picture shown below. All in all the damper install took about 90 minutes. The assembly of the ATI damper took a few minutes to figure out and required a call to JRE. They were very helpful. The installation orientation of the A/C pulley was not initially clear to me as I didn't have the stock damper off the car yet. That would have helped. Anyways, the JRE guys answered the phone and emailed me some pics which were very helpful. For those of you considering doing this install yourself, I would say take your time. One thing you need to make sure of is that you do not mess up the nose of the crank in any way. That would be expensive. The addition of the 5% pulley was another nice add to performance. My initial thoughts, now that both the CAI and pulley are installed, is this is the kind of performance this car should have been delivered with. I'm not knocking GM here but I've always felt this car was 50-60 hp shy of what it should have. The car really pulls hard now. I've done some data logging and the control system has adjusted properly. Injectors are definitely operating at a higher pulse width but still have some overhead. Fuel trims are pretty normal. All in all, I'm happy with the investment made in these two modifications. CAI, Inc. Attachment 645925 Stock damper with bolt removed. Here is the picture that JRE sent me showing the orientation of the A/C compressor pulley. The thing that threw me was the gap between the A/C pulley and the water pump pulley. I knew it had to go that way but the gap was throwing me. Once you get the stock damper off, you will see there is material between the same two sheaves.

My instructions say you will need a T35 Torx Plus, T40 Torx Plus and a T45 Torx Plus bits? I am having a hard time finding the T35 Torx Plus. Did you need it?

You are not running any fuel additives are you? And you don't feel like you need new injectors ? Notice anything heat wise ?
