yup, and with the improvements MGW has made, it'll be even nicer...

I may have a sponsor for a transmission... If we can't get it right locally I'll be going for it...

I need to call them and see if mine has the new stuff in it. I got mine NIB, so I'm not sure what I need to upgrade.

Oh new tranny... I'm going to be the last manual car on this site aren't I.

Oh hell no, I'll be there right beside you... I'm talking a sponsor to provide a built TR 6060, with 4340 shafts etc... It aint free by any stretch, but the price is way right for me...

:drinking: Nice. I've been talking to Tim at T and T about his tranny rebuilds... Seems like some good insurance for my power level.

Ultimately my goal is to make the drive train bullet proof to about 700 to the wheels.

Then get a nice streetable 650ish to the tires and really learn how to drive.

:D

I've heard some nice things about the work they are doing... Tim was helpful with suggestions for mine, just haven't had the chance to pull the tranny yet... Time will tell...

I really like that! I know all of our cars can't get really dirty in nasty weather, and the rear on mine seems to collect a lot of crap. I don't have a spoiler on my car and was wondering if a spoiler will actually help eliminate as much buildup back there.

Yes, indeed. Man I love this thing. Not sure which I like more... the H grille or Blade spoiler... :D

I'm not sure but there certainly was a bunch "o" crud under the factory one...

Hey. If you'd like I'll give you My factory one. You just need to repaint it???

Lemme know. you get first dibs. :D

NICE. :headbang:

Get some meaty tires, then together all that and the supercar coilovers will leave you with an incredibly well-balanced car! (Are you thinking of upgrading brakes, too?)

wheels and tires are next.

Pete is on me to get the brakes done also... but I'm so lost as to what the right choice is... just rotors and pads.... or full on brake upgrade...

SS brake lines and rotors and pads???? so many options I'm just :mad0259:

so for now I'm gonna hold off on brakes.... Need to get my head around that one still.

If you're thinking of going the whole 9 yards with THR 22...my humble suggestion would be to do the CTS-V front brake upgrade Pete did to his Camaro way back when (or...I guess now we could call it the ZL1 front brake upgrade)...the 6-pots and larger rotors will help with heat dissipation after reigning in all 700+ of those horses you plan on. :D

IMO...if you're going to track it, at all...SS brakes won't cut it. (Plus, the bigger calipers will look great inside of 20"+ wheels.)

20+ ??? :confused0068:

 20's thank you... ;)

Agreed, but I need to decide how serious I am about tacking it... cus a set of track wheels will most likely be 18's....

right now I'm more interested in seperate clutch and brake master cyls....

Anxiously waiting for someone to come up with a bolt on kit.
