I'm not arguing that the car was a good deal, just wondering why the dealer would up their price ~$15k after months of sitting. The car was a trade in. I'd much rather pay that for a new car than one...

Could very well be. It looks like the car was only owned briefly before it ended up back at the same dealer it was sold from. I'll have to investigate further.
