And so it begins. Found the locating pin from the headlight to fender is broken, the lower grill is broken as well as the passenger running light housing assembly. The passenger side was a real pain in the ass to get the three forward facing bolts that hold the fender to the bumper. Everything else that I speculated was broke is. I got paid for the headlight but I’m not going to replace it. They are not available oem new and no reason to put a 250k or whatever mile used light in place of the one there. It still works and no one will ever know that pin is broken. I can’t see any major use for that pin other than aligning the light and fender on the assembly line. I’m gonna take it to the shop at work to put it together, but decided to see how bad I’d piss off the apartment complex management with my shenanigans. I wanted to make sure I had everything ready to go before assembly and no surprises. I’ll order the running light and lower grill tomorrow.
