Ok stupidity ensues….

I did not remove them from the core…I just zip tied them to the U hose. I’m not sure what you mean by loop them together, however my “read it on the internet and watch YouTube videos” took a turn for the worst…

I topped off (over filled) the coolant I lost during the hose swap, and the car overheated, I drained some coolant (too much)and the car overheated. I reattached the heater hoses, added some coolant (not enough) and the car over heated. I turned the heat in and the car was really overheated. I’m very low on coolant now so I’m getting some more coolant tomorrow and keep working that problem. Fortunately I have a big fan pointed at the front of the car to help me not blow anything up.

Maaaaaan….It’s like a one man keystone cop movie out there.

I’m just trying to get ready for a road trip this summer and the AC is acting up and I wanted to either confirm or eliminate the blend doors are good. (That’s a whoooooooool ‘nuther story)
