Yeah! That's promising. Think about it, who else can compete V6 to V6 at 300+ hp? not Ford, not Dodge - and definitly not the little 4 bangers out there!
A 300+ hp V6 is an excellent choice for GM if they want to produce mass quantitys of these things.
