It detects engine RPM, speed and clutch position to predict a launch. Even in the V, it makes the car as smooth, well almost as smooth as a base CTS on the highway. A very impressive technology.
That's them! What about handling...I always hear how comfy they can be when switched to tour, but is sport mode really...sporty?
