Actually, since all these cars are Seriel Numbered they turn into collectors items. Ever watched Berrent-Jackson Car auction? They sale cars like these all the time. Besides you now Yenko started out as and still is a car dealer?

Now I am not saying Yenko didn't have great cars, but the dealers exploited the rules of the COPO program to custom-build the ultimate muscle cars of the time. Today the COPO program isn't around so it is up to people like Hennessey, SLP, Nickey Chicago, ECT to turn out a new generation of muscle cars. So it boils down to who has been around longer, which isn't as important as car performance, what the customer wants and how much he is willing to pay for it.

More and more I'm thinking (I hope I am wrong) the Z/28 (which would be a low volume saling car) GM can not afford it and the push away from oil to other sources of fuel...means it is a long way off, if happens at all.
