Sometimes just the Large number of cars sold makes people just rag them to death thinking they won't ever be collectable.. and those that keep theirs pristeen and untouched will benefit... Just think of everyone doing mods and throwing away the origonal parts thinking they will never be collectible.. every time somebody does that makes the untouched cars a little more valuable...
So don't ever think they couldn't be collectable.. because you and nobody else can predict the future.

This is true, but my neighbor has one, mint condition. It sees day light MAYBE 4-5 days a year. My neighbor across the street use to have one. Drove it for 8 years before it finally gave. He told me as much as he would love to have it back, he would hate himself for not driving it. Made me promise to at least wash mine regularly and take her in for regular check ups
That aside, I'm not a car collector. If I won the lottery and could afford to be one, then yes, I would keep my Camaro in awesome condition. But I'm not. I have no false ideas of being able to keep this car in great shape and enjoy it. I don't have the time, nor the money.
One day I will look back and say "shit, that was a nice car, I miss it", but I'll be grateful I enjoyed it while I had it.
