They were put on the earliest version. Those cars will be revered as the first production model of 5th Generation Camaros and will explode in value as the most rare and difficult to find in the future.

Espeicially since I have one!

It will be in thirty years, like the 1st gen is now. This car not only excited Camaro enthusiest bet all of america. I agree though, enjoy it while you have it!

I was curious about the no-chicklet thing too, mine didn't have them when I was looking for them to remove...I hated them anyways. It does have the GM performance division plaque under the hood though. Neat touch.

You just never know.... who knew the first Gen Camaros would be as valuble as they are today? in fact who knew any of the cars that are so collectable today were going to be back when they were being sold as new?

Sometimes just the Large number of cars sold makes people just rag them to death thinking they won't ever be collectable.. and those that keep theirs pristeen and untouched will benefit... Just think of everyone doing mods and throwing away the origonal parts thinking they will never be collectible.. every time somebody does that makes the untouched cars a little more valuable...

So don't ever think they couldn't be collectable.. because you and nobody else can predict the future.

um, Chevy made 243,085 Camaros in 1969. Good luck finding one.

Don's neighbor to the north checking in. #54583...ran down the line just prior to 9am, 9/11...BU sensors and chicklets...black on black 2SS/RS...less residual value than any other combo, I'm sure...
