Well I just want to say, I'm glad I installed it anyway because it does NOT make one single sound out at all!! I don't have any vibration in any gear, whether my hand is resting on the shifter or not. I put the Hurst stick and white knob on, and it looks gorgeous!! I turned my radio down and put the windows up (my exhaust isn't even very loud) and I didn't hear any noise whatsoever. I hear that Hurst is offering shims or something now to reduce vibration, this kit was made well before that was in place, and I didn't modify anything when installing it. I am so happy with this thing!! It shifts hard but very crisp and the throw is sooooo short now! All I can say is Hurst did a great job on this thing!! Thank you Hurst!!!

I had the same experience. I had my installed about 1 month ago & there is absolutely no noise, vibration or any other problems. I love the look & the definite shifts.
