The saga continues...
So I pick up my car from the dealer and of course they scratch the inside of the driver's side door. I try so hard not to scratch it but apparently they are not as carefuly. However, scratches I can live with.
My car is now noticably slower. It has a tremendous lag when you step on it and the engine screams but the car just doesn't want to go. (This is how my 1996 Impala SS felt with headers, exhaust, intake, TB, and chip installed). Yes, it will still spin the rear tires from a dead stop with the traction control on but the lag is killing me.
The service guy I was dealing with told me on the phone that there was a problem with the L99's, that it was fixed and my car was built (1/10') after the fix.
I know they reset my computer or battery or something because my radio lost it's saved "tone" adjustments. No biggy there.
Simply put, I just don't recognize the feel of my car right now.
This is what the dealership wrote on my service invoice:
CUST FEELS FUEL ECONOMY ISN'T WHAT IT SHOULD BE. IDLE APPEARS ROUGH AT START UP AND WHILE DRIVING (i didn't say that last part to them). CUST INFORMED ELSEWHERE (C5

Maybe I just need to drive it for a couple of hours and it will return to normal.
I plan on getting it dynoed tomorrow so I will see what the HP/TQ #'s are.
