1) for all you who say he's a lucky 15 yr old - no he's not. I used to think that too. He's very unlucky. His parents are buying him a car too powerful when he's too young. It's like giving a 2 year old sharp scissors, telling him not to run with them, then leaving the house.....not the 2 year old's fault, he didn't know any better. Kid might be smart, outgoing, doesn't matter. That's why you have to be 21 to drive a tractor trailer - who cares if you're 15 and smart and nice etc. you don't have the experience and capabilities to drive a 400+hp car!
2) it's fine to buy your kids something nice, but a couple points..they DONT deserve it. I'm sick of hearing kids or parents saying, well, they did well in school...and? I might only be 22 but I'm def. in favor of the way things were when my dad grew up - you do well in school b/c you want to make something of yourself, not to get a new car second, if you do buy your kid a car, buy them something safe, reliable, maybe a little sporty! I dont think kids should have anything to show off or excessive speed when they didn't EARN it! Showing off a camaro, bmw, rangrover when you don't earn it is pathetic!
3) I really feel bad for these kids. No offense to anyone but I don't feel they are learning anything. They don't understand the value of the dollar, they're a danger to everyone on the road, and a lot of times they get a false sense of entitlment.
just my two sense, i guess it wasn't so short afterall, but this really gets me frustrated - even if I were a millionarie my kids would not be getting a new car - I'd buy them a safe, used car, and if they want something more they can WORK FOR IT

I don't think you need to rage about it man. Yes, the kid IS lucky. I believe it was a stick so he probably drove a stick before, and for the power, he will need some time to get use to it, but he will. The SS was my first V8 car, did i crash it? No. Everything takes time.
I hate people who are like this. They can't be happy for someone else due to jealousy. Yeah i can see that he may be a little young, but to talk like this...it's just as "pathetic". Also, i don't think that kid will show it off like what you think he will do..He seemed very appreciative about the car. Not every kid is the same you know. Although some kids may get things handed to them and show it off like they bought it, you don't need to rage like this. Just say "Hey at least i paid for mine on my own". No need to get butt hurt over it, man.
