my 43 year old '67 GTO burns some oil, I'm ok with that. a new car should not be puffing blue smoke, that can only mean something mechanical is wrong. I also have a mini cooper S that i race on road courses and one time i had blue smoke and ended up a small chunk of the piston head in cylinder 4 was missing letting oil blow by and through the exaust valve, ended up replacing the whole motor, seems that the motor was running lean at 6000 RPM, in the new motor i had the fuel maps changed.
