Came back and filled the differential with the whole quart but it never did overflow back out (I expected to be able to know when it was full by it coming out the top hole). I did get 99% of the quart bottle in there. Since it didnt start to overflow out of the top hole, am I a little low on oil now? I wouldnt think so since none came out when I first opened it. I test drove it and all was normal.

Did anyone else use a full quart and still not have any overflow? Please advise. Thanks!
same thing happened to me on my fill. I had like a couple drops (literally) come out the top hole when draining. My car wasn't exactly level (pointed down a hair, but pretty close.

I stuck my pinky in the top hole and i could feel the oil JUST below the threads, so it was perfect.
