I'm certain once GM finally releases the Canadian Price Lists ( Nov 16th I've been told ), there will be thousands of more orders for camaros being placed. Perhaps, V6's more so than V8's as were figuring V6's to be priced between $27,000 to under $40,000 and V8's to start at $40,000 and go up from there. As these are only estimates, once again we are anxiously awaiting GM's final pricing and hoping that they will indeed be reasonable for us.
My true dream is to own a 1SS/RS, but will equally be happy if I end up with a 2LT/RS instead. Either way, I've loved the Camaro since the day I could first drive and don't really care what's under the hood ( so long as it's not a 4cyl ) with at least 300 hp and stylish good looks I know I will be the envy of any 210 hp V8 Mustang GT owners as I leave them crying in my trail of dust!

We don't have it as bad as you guys, as far as pricing...

The 80-100K build number needs to be clarified now that that the 20K build memo went out.

I'm sure it's more complicated than that. Don't you think they would do that if they could? I'm sure they would. Most people realized V6s were going to be the priority so please be understanding. I'm as eager as you to get a brand new Camaro but we need to think globally and what is best for Camaro
and GM. I'd want my car too if I put down a deposit, for sure.

Yes they want to produce all the cars us enthusiasts have ordered, but they also need to build some V6 models for the dealers lot and the general public. (The supply chain). (Marketing)
The pre orders will be built as soon as possible. But they need to mix in a healthy quantity of LS, LT's. Just because we pre ordered does not mean our cars will be the entire first run. Like everyone who ordered SS, I would love to get my SS in late Feb or early Mar. I am also prepared to wait till late Mar or April. It's like a painter on another thread, who works at the Oshowa assembly plant, said. Because of the robotics systems the can make a red car, then black, the silver then........ They can build any trim level in line with other trim levels. It just may take a bit longer to get all of our SS Camaros.
That's my two cents worth. I don't recall seeing or hearing any gaurantees by GM as to what they will build first. I will be happy to get mine when I get it, I don't have to be the first in line or first in town to draw attention. We will get the attention regardless of when we get our cars.
Some of this thread needs to be merged with: Stop Bitching!
