Bring back Pontiac and make them a high performance/low luxury division and id be all for it haha. Im just concerned with the price of the "new GM", BMW grade Cadillacs and Audi grade interiors are nice and all, but while i can re-set my idea of quality for GM im not going to re-set my idea of price. GM has and always should be a company for the masses. Do what you will but keep prices in check please.
GM isn't a company for the masses. It has 3 divisions with different buyers for each. Chevrolet is the entry brand. Cadillac is not. As far as price, Cadillac is GM's luxury division, and should be treated as such. They called themselves "The Standard of the World". Unfortunately they didn't hold to that standard after the 1960's.
If it is cheap, then it shouldn't be a Cadillac.
I don't think Chevrolet will get price increases because of better interiors. The Malibu, Equinox, and the Lacrosse at Buick already have better interiors. GM cut corners for so many years, and that's what lost them buyers. They can't afford to be cheap with their product anymore.
