I told my dealer that a lot of guys were having trouble with the "relearn" feature with the stock wheels and sensors (which they are if you read through this thread and other threads). I really think it's the "relearn" programming in the car. Somehow it isn't storing the TPMS data properly. That's the story I told the dealer.

The dealer did ask if I could mount the stock sensors in the new wheels. I said I probably could, but it would cost me another $300 to have the tires mounted and balanced again, plus probably another $100 to have the stock wheels taken apart. (Fortunately, I haven't sold the stock wheels yet). I think it will be a lot harder to sell the stock wheels without the sensors in them, so I may have to order some sensors from GM. I'm sure they won't be cheap.
