I was going to get a 1LT with almost nothing for options because I couldn't afford much more (hell at the time I could barely afford that)....
I was lucky when I found my SS loaded with everything (but GFX) and decided to use my divorce settlement on her.
Even for the LT though, I would have done whatever I could to get it and pay for her....
I had no trouble knowing I wanted this car and being determined to get it
I'm lucky to have found (and been able to afford) my loaded SS but, I would still have an awesome car even if I'd gotten the LT. I think you should go for what you want if you can afford it - if there are options you can live without then consider nixing them to save a little.
