Yes I love the car so much that I think I could have a V-6 version just to drive everyday. I was very impressed with the traction control and stabilitrak in the rain. Does the V-6 feel just as safe in bad weather? I wonder how the V-6 would do in the snow>? Anyone know ?

For me, its going to be my daily driver, so deep snow, lots of spring rain, and it has to fit golf clubs for the summer.

I drove my '95 Z28 in the winter one year and HAD to get snow tires and keep it under 2500 rpm at ALL times. The car had too much torque to start from a light without spinning. So it was easy for me to decide on the V6. it has more HP than the '95, but less torque. And I actually prefer rear wheel drive in the winter!

But if the new camaro was going to be my summer only car, then i would have ordered the V8.

So how is it in the snow? Is the stabilitrak and TC doing their jobs ? I was really impressed with my SS when I got caught in the rain.

The argument of V6 vs. V8 here is like the 9mm vs. .40 vs .45 discussions on the gun forums lol.
I test drove all of them before I bought my car and you can definately feel the difference in the ride between the ss and the V-6. The V-6 felt less tight or strong, and I'm not talking about the engine. I can't put the exact words on it , but it was definately a different car.

Theres no doubt about that. Up hare a guy got 14.4 in the quarter, my best time in my stock formula 350 was 14.1.. The v-6 is a good car.

Love mine.
The manual has the SS posi rear end too. I'd like the manual, but it's nice to chill in my A6 SS. It really doesn't matter all 2010 camaros are fast strong good cars. I'm think of a year round 4 season DD, so what I'd really like to know is how the V-6 is in the snow and ice, and going thru small snowbanks if needed. The stabilitrac works just as good as the SS right ??? Who here has driven one in the snow for a whole winter??

The v-6 guys are haveing just as much fun as the v-8 guys. You can hardly tell the cars apart, they just look so good.

Aside from the "ohhh i want a V8" factor, are you going to do anything with the car that will require the performance upgrades the SS trim lines feature?

If you get the RS you will have the 20 inch wheels. You can buy the SS sway bars. So I wonder if you did these two things and lowered the gears in the v-6 if you could get to the stock SS level of performance for cheap money. But those 20 perelli's are NG in the snow. So how are the stock V-6 tires in the snow ?
